"We booked the most expensive beach front bungalow for 2nights. The setting was beautiful but unfortunately we decided to cut out stay short. When we arrived we were taken to our room and found all 3 beds to have stained sheets, hairs and bugs.. we approached the receptionist who had checked us in and asked for the sheets to be changed, she was grumpy and snappy and asked us to wait until the next day to get the sheets changed, we politely refused and said we wouldn't be comfortable sleeping in...

The only thing that I didn’t like was that there were insects everywhere, I was reaching for coffee that’s provided with the room and there was an ant trail going up the wall then when I came home I found lizard under my clothes that I set by the sink. If small insects bother you I would pass on this place but if you can deal then this is a nice stay"

"Perfect if you're just in Koh Tao for the diving and you don't want to stay in a resort. Everything's on the doorstep and just a short walk to the pier. The studio room was good value with comfy sofa and enormous fridge. I only stayed one night just to get a feel for the area, and it's nice and quiet after 10pm, bustling during the day. Do try the massage in their spa across the road, so good."

"Nadpob reminds me of typical backpacker accommodation from the 1990s era. Small but comfortable rooms with fridge, aircon, ceiling fan, hot water. Better quality towels than expected. Bed a little softer than the usual. Friendly check in. Great location on the other side of the tracks from the Surat Thani train station in Phun Phin. Stairs required for some rooms and to cross the pedestrian bridge from the train station. Just down the street from a fairly good night market, with at least one...

"The property was modern, clean and had a very comfortable bed. I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it, il be back again one day! The only downside was that there wasn’t a cleaner, plus the location was far out but I had a moped so it was perfect for me. The price was brilliant and so art from the lack of a cleaner I would give the property 5 stars!"

"Pros- If you are planning to go to the full moon party this is the place to stay, within a couple of minutes away. Jack the manager of the property was very friendly and helpful. Cons- If you are planning to get some sleep during the full moon party, forget it. I think i got maybe two hours sleep because of the craziness going on until the next day. Overall would do it all again, good times!"

"It was a very nice stayand they have a wonderful guest house in a quiet area with plush beautiful vegetation The guesthouse is quite new and the rooms are large and very nicely decorated and very comfortable and only a 15 minute walk to Fishermans Village Both hosts were very accommodating and helpful in every which way and Ta was quite the cook making breakfast and offering dinner too I highly recommend their guesthouse"
