"Booked on a last minute whim for a trip to the theatre in Aylesbury. Fantastic place - super friendly staff, high quality accommodation with a few extra nice touches on top. The breakfast was genuinely amongst the very best I’ve ever been served. Highly recommended place to stay."

"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!"

"Hotel is very run down and rooms are extremely tired and grotty. Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. There was air conditioning in the reception that was working and units installed the rooms with control panels but were not working. Their explanation was that the pump or condenser was not working. "No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible"

"Als je na een lange reis in de bloedhitte eindelijk aankomt bij een hotel, verwacht je op zijn minst dat je vriendelijk en met aandacht wordt ontvangen. Niet dat er ondertussen druk op de telefoon berichtjes worden getypt. Ik bedoel... wat is nu 5 minuutjes even met onverdeelde aandacht je gasten ontvangen? De kamer was bloedheet, maar daar kan niemand iets aandoen. Het tapijt is goor evenals het hoofdeind van het bed. Badkamer was prima en netjes en ruim, niets op aan te merken."

"Wonderful price and location. Very clean and basic set-up though kettle and tea/coffee provided. The main negative was that the room was a sauna as there was no air conditioning. They had kindly provided a fan but during the UK heatwave this was insufficient. Having said that, if the temperature was normal I think we'd have had a very comfortable stay. Staff were lovely and super location."

"Red Mullions Guest House genuinely feels like a home away from home. Reception was warm and inviting-room was clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient in Oxford (there is a bus stop across the street!) but quiet enough to be away from the heart of Oxford (which is a short bus ride away). Free WiFi, basic toiletries provided, blow dryer, and clothes iron available upon request.
