"Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!"

"The Devonshire Arms hotel is a really lovely place to stay. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and ironing board. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast though there was no gluten free cereal available."

"This is a small hotel which has been decorated well. the staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good The rooms are clean and lovely. However, there is no lift and there are 3 floors. there isn't a large separate lounge. However ,the views are amazing."

"Staff were vthe best breakfast was amazing"

"Really enjoyed staying here! The room was very spacious and clean. Enjoyed using the swimming pool and facilities"

"Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return."

"Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax."

"Friendly staff. Great meal. Good location. Definately stay here again."

"We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

"Very easy to find and plenty of easy parking available. Really warm welcome by the staff. The room was a front facing room which looked over the stray. Very clean, good size, great shower. Breakfast in the amazing restaurant was great. Not a massive choice of everything, but enough not to be left feeling short changed. We would definitely book here again and spend longer in the bar, and have an evening meal in the restaurant. Easy walk into town and very quiet on the night."

"Shame that hdmi doesn't work. Could not use my firestick to do some work. Asked for a small Birthday decoration for my wife 60, didn't get response from Manager saying yes or no. My opinion is 30 pounds for parking is not correct for two days, actually should be free for costumers. Not thinking to go back again."

"Was nice. Breakfast was good"

"There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite. Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration. With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...

"The room was a reasonable size with a king size bed and a small en suite. However, we found a large stain (possibly blood) on the corner of the mattress topper. We also found one of the windows couldn't be open due to it having parcel tape stuck over window and frame. This looked messy and botched. It was a cold room and when we went to turn the radiators on they were filthy with dust and debris in the grills!! We complained to the receptionists who immediately arranged to move us to another...

"Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town"
