Room was clean though a bit old, but acceptable for the price point. Close enough walk to Ikebukuro but far away enough you don't get any noise. Having a kitchen was a big plus, I cooked some great waguu steak in there. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel to stay at! It is located in a more quiet part of Tokyo, away from the main central busy part of the city. However, it is a 10 minute walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and can speak English which was helpful! I love the free amenities provided for guests right by the service desk.

Good location, plenty of convenience stores nearby if you need to grab any last-minute items, and also just a short 10 minute walk to Otsuka Station. It's around a 15 minute walk to the Ikebukuro area, which has lots of shops, food options, and another station there too. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a laundry room with plenty of both washers & dryers, so we never needed to wait as there was always one available to use. The room is small, so if you have a lot of luggages and bags it can be difficult to open them up and still have space to move around. The bathroom takes some getting used to as it is also small and has quite a high step to get in/out of the bathroom and the bathtub too, so that is something to note for anyone with mobility issues or bad knees. Overall had a good experience here as it was a good central location and affordable price.

I stayed for about two weeks and I had a great time staying at this property! It had all the amenities I needed and it was very close to both Otsuka Station and the Sunshine City Shopping Mall so it was a convienient stay. The staff was also very helpful and I could still communicate with English.

My hotel room was very clean. Easy access to transportation. Restaurants are close by. 2nd floor has laundry room. Only thing is you have to pay for cleaning services but what does it matter if price for stay is very reasonable.

Convenient and comfortable

The location is very convenient. The room is small but comfortable and equipped with everything need. The bed is comfortable too. So no complaint about that. Staff is very friendly. The hotel is very generous for amenities as well. They don't provide cleaning the room during the stay and guests have to discard garbage ourselves. So being that, the price is a bit high in my opinion. They don't provide breakfast too but finding things to eat is very easy.

There's better value in tokyo

The pros-Very friendly service, they even let us check in early after a our long journey. Super close to sunshine city and about a 10 min walk from the train station. The room was a decent size for Tokyo and the AC worked great. Bathroom was renovated nicely. The cons- the walls had scary stains. Lots of spots covered in what I can only imagine is blood and other bodily fluids. There was a huge red stain right when you entered that looked like blood, like someone was shot at the doorway( head height ) I had some wet wipes but It was a textured wall paper and I was unable to scrub out the stains, the worst of which were on the wall right by where the bed touch the wall and would have to touch while sleeping. The mattress was awful. Super lumpy and hard. Didn't sleep great at all. Nothing against the hotel but also wouldn't recommend the neighborhood as it was the only place in Tokyo that felt a bit unsafe. Lots of noises from other rooms in the night. Lots of sirens in the night because the fire hall is super close by. I didn't realize the proximity until the next morning, so all through the night I felt like things were happening right outside. We only stayed one night and was glad I didn't stay longer.
