"It was okay for the price"

"Hotel needs an urgent upgrade. Chair in room was half broken, inoperable. No extra blankets available especially when heater was so old and loud I had to turn it off and room was very cold. Shower handle did not work so I couldn't even shower because there's no maintenance on weekends or after business hours. The staff is super nice but property is falling apart."

"This was my third time staying at the Marriott JFK Hotel in New York, and unfortunately this stay was disappointing compared to my previous visits. I was assigned a room on the 11th floor, and throughout my stay there was a strong food odor coming into the room. The smell seemed to be coming from the hotel’s kitchen or ventilation system and was noticeable inside the room for extended periods of time. "The staff at reception are friendly and helpful in all aspects during all my interactions with them. They mentioned my Marriott bonvoy membership which I had forgotten, provided detailed information on dining and airport shuttle services. Welcome relief after a 19 hour flight! Breakfast staff were less friendly though"

"The rate for the hotel was very high $369.+ taxes and fees for a two nights stay with no amenities. Additional charges a $10.00 fee for the TV remote in order to watch TV in the room. No telephone in the room, no room service no breakfast, no coffee, no tea, no lunch, no dinner, no amenities. Just One microwave in main lobby."

"The A/C was making a loud noise when running that kept us up all night. There was a construction site just outside our window that had a night shift banging all night, the neighborhood was scary and there was no place to get a decent meal, the staff should not have been putting people in rooms on that side of the building and the hotel was not full as it was a Monday night after the weekend."

"Nothing unique. The woman working morning shift.....I felt she was rude to customers that had an issue with their rooms. Not only rude but called the police on 2 different customers instead of trying to resolve their issues professionally. I don't think she should have any dealing with public. The night shift male was respectful, attentive and professional. My issue was the room I stayed in ....the door needs to be fixed....you have to use your shoulder to push door open and slam shut....
