"I spent a week here and can’t wait to return. The location was dauntingly remote looking at a map. But anywhere worth going to on this side of the island requires driving anyway. The walkable nude beach was a big highlight. The hot tub and outdoor shower was also a great touch."

Chalet Kilauea
"It’s like staying in a cool treehouse. My room was very spacious and quiet. The hotel has no staff on site but easy enough to contact if you need anything (I didn ’t need to contact them for anything though). Definitely a cool place to stay."
