"The Bahia Principe Grand Coba Resort (BPGCR) is the ideal destination for both families with children and couples; by all standards, its performance receives the highest rating 5. Everything stated below pertains to Expedia, the company with which we booked our vacation at BPGCR. An Expedia representative scheduled our departure to the airport for 4:20 AM the following day—informing us of this by phone at 4:00 PM—and allotted three hours for the trip, instead of the 1.5 hours stipulated in our contract. From the driver who arrived to transport us to the airport, we learned that BPGCR was the fourth stop on his route! This three-hour ordeal—bouncing along rough roads through the dark jungle can only be described as torture! While the OTA (Online Travel Agency) Expedia is ultimately responsible for the performance of its transport providers, its system prompts users to review the BPGCR itself. Consequently, travelers who experience issues with the transport company end up directing their dissatisfaction toward the BPGCR website rather than Expedia's! Based on our experience booking through Expedia.com, my rating for Expedia—across all parameters including organization, oversight, and accountability—is the absolute lowest: 2. "This is our 3rd year going there. Because we have had such an amazing experience the previous two times we had been there. All the staff from the Bar tenders, wait staff, activity staff, the trolley drivers, and house cleaning were absolutely amazing!! The food was so delicious! The only complaint we had was trying to get smaller bills so we can tip the staff. There seemed to be a shortage on $1 bills We are already planning on going back there next year. We have highly recommended to all our friends and family. You totally treat us like kings and queens. Was wonderful the staff made it so relaxing, the only decision we had to make was what to eat and drink.😊 the Bar tenders and waitresses were so amazing the would usually have a drink for us even before we ordered . That was so shocking because they are taking care of so many guests. 😊"

"Always easy to point out the negatives, but they are limited. Often out of pool towels, the ultra all inclusive has some odd exclusions. Just charge a bit more and include everything. Could use pool or beach attendants to avoid people reserving chairs. Cheapens the experience. Invest in big ice cubes for evening cocktails That said, the staff are great. Resort is beautiful. Great location. Food and drink are great. A mix of fun and high end cocktails. Cater very well to allergies. Peaceful, elegant, clean and quiet. Definitely go to this resort as one of the best (if not the best) in Tulum or Mayan Riviera."

"This was a last minute trip and I must say I had absolutely a WONDERFUL time and sooooo happy I stayed here! The Staff…EVERYONE was so nice, professional, helpful, kind, sweet, and attentive. I slept very well…the bed was very comfortable. Then Matias…he did a video of me that was soooooo beautiful. I mean…I speechless as I came to do absolutely nothing…which is surprising being I always do activities and take pictures. They let me stay a lil longer for my flight. Arranged my transportation to and from the airport and even off the bay to go to Tulum. I most definitely will come back and thank you guyz again🥹❤️"
