"I had a great stay for 2 nights here whilst away on business. Smooth and friendly check in and I had an excellent kitchenette room. Check out the lovely view! Would recommended for the price."

"Thought this hotel was great value for money. Had everything i needed for a good night's sleep. Fridge in the room was a bonus but also coffee making facilities tv, wifi, electricity points were all good. Room and shower room were clean All staff at reception and elsewhere were courteous, knowledge and helpful. Woukd recommend as a budget hotel at a great price (I onky paid £43 for a Saturday night)"

"Rooms was very clean and whilst no frills it had all of the amenities available anyone could need, including for cooking. Safe free parking was ideal. The location of the hotel is excellent. Just beside is the Zoo and Castle. The town centre is a short walk as is The Black Country museum"

"We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money for a short few hour stay on route to our destination. It is true to say the hotel was full of charcter and one could easily imagine how beautiful it was in its heyday.... however time has clearly taken its toll. It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. We have no complaints whatsoever. ...

" Very helpful staff. Always smiling and happy to help in anyway they can. Food is amazing. Car park opposite for £4.00 per day. Close to the high town. Hotel in low town. Plenty of bars and food places in high town"

"Loved staying here. The guy who showed me round couldn't have been any kinder or more interested in telling me about the room. A full guided tour. The room I stayed in was a really great size, bathroom was great and the bed was comfy. The location was fantastic also. Only 2 points I'd like A hairdryer in the room A better fan (but to be fair there was a fan and at the moment it's like 100 degrees) These are the only 2 things I'd change but it doesn't impact my review because of the great...

"Arrived after a 200 mile motorbike ride round Snowdonia, hot and tired, Liz welcomed us, sorted roo s which wete ready. Had cold beers on a table before we had unloaded, that's service. "It’s a deserted, a haunted place where only drug addicts may feel happy. Rooms are having bad smells, poor quality of furniture. It is not worth to stay. Don’t try it, you will repent. We cancelled our booking upon seeing all these conditions. Go better to the nearby travelogue. "
