"Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Torquay lived up to the brand’s reputation for consistency and in several areas, exceeded expectations.
Parking was straightforward, with ample options both on-street and in a nearby multi-storey just a short walk away (under 200 yards), which made arrival and daily outings very easy.
The hotel foyer was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with useful local information readily available.
Our room was on the smaller side compared to typical U.S....

"I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of this hotel. The front of the property was extremely dirty, with rubbish scattered around, giving a very poor first impression upon arrival.
The outdoor swimming pool was out of service and filled with green, dirty water, which was both unappealing and concerning. The garden area was also poorly maintained, with broken furniture left lying around, adding to the neglected atmosphere.

"Went for wedding, was astonished at the route from hotel foyer to venue, especially with so many people attending.

"Such kind and helpful staff. The room was delightful and stylish and just as we hoped, with spotless bathroom. We love the location so close to the shore, and the cooked breakfasts are delicious. "

"The hotel was very good quality for the price staff were very polite and helpful, if you needed anything, the room was adequate for what I needed bed was comfortable got a couple of good nights sleeps old hotel and room showed it could do with updating
And walls were very thin. I was very disappointed with the very small shower ok for petite people but well built people like me would struggle and did.Breakfast was very good could not fault it never tried the restaurant but the Bistro bars food...

"This hotel is appalling. It looks like rundown bldg inside. We checked in on Saturday evening and the reception is full of teenagers who looks shady. The room was below standard. There was no toilet papers, reception is closed because its weekend. Good thing we brought our own toilet papers. The bed are old and sunken. The carpets in the room and in the hallways looked filthy not to mention the smell of it . This hotel needs a full refurbishment. Am sorry, but my 2 nights stay in this hotel is...
