"The room was very clean, just a bit small. The hotel restaurant served a nice dinner — definitely worth trying. Another plus is that parking is free, which is quite rare in the UK!😅"

"The Pinnacle suite at the hotel was very spacious for our family of four with beautiful views from
each window! The hotel is charming and aged, but the room was very nice and seemed recently renovated. We were very comfortable and enjoyed dining at Seamus Bar. We recommend and would stay here again! "

"Great place to spend the night while exploring the small town of Mallaig. Next time I’ll book during summer when more ferry routes align with train schedules. Beautiful hotel and beautiful scenery!"

"Nice clean facility with friendly helpful staff (helped me get my suitcase upstairs). Well stocked clean room. Restaurant on site but I did not try. Bar staff was friendly and helpful. Nice comfortable common areas."

"Our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the loch and the Isle of Skye. In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. We will certainly make a return visit some time in the near future."

"Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance.
Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. "

"Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent!
Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some...

"This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dining options were delicious. We loved every minute of our stay here. Would highly recommend!"

"Great stay. Staff were lovely. Took care of all dinner/breakfast booking seemlessly. Room was so clean and bed really comfy. Very cosy any homely. Lovely food in the pub below. Cratered for gluten free without any issue."

"Simply Outstanding.
Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night.
We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind.
