"I chose this resort for accessibility. Expedia told me to email the resort directly. I did, three weeks out, in detail. Receipt was confirmed. The rooms controller replied two days before arrival with options showing she never read it, ignored my two follow-ups, then emailed at 4:41 PM on arrival day, 41 minutes after we were already standing in the lobby, claiming they “were waiting for us.”

"I had a very goos stay at the Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort and would definitely rate the hotel itself five stars. The property has two sections—one directly on the beach and another across the street, which is where I stayed. My room was fantastic, with high ceilings, a jacuzzi on the balcony, and a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

"The staff was super attentive, helpful and friendly. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Stunning views, wildlife everywhere! We literally had monkeys on our balcony at times. The food was amazing as well. The way the staff cleaned and organized our room while we were out each day was great. They paid a lot of attention to little details. You could really feel the pride everyone there had for their part in making us feel like we were the most important people there."

"The ocean was not really accessible, too many rocks. Most of the staff was not friendly especially at the buffet restaurant. The food wasn't that great, there weren't that many options. The nightly shows weren't that entertaining. They had a pool bar next to the pool but you couldn't access the bar if you were wet. Don't see the point of a pool bar if you can't get to it. We saw vomit in the pool and no one came to clean it. After an hour we told someone else and the pool guy just dismissed us...

"Don’t plan on using the beach at this resort. No chairs no bar service at all. The sand is like mud and you have to deal with people constantly trying to sell you something."

"Very relaxing environment. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service and it doesn't take long for them to come get you after you call them. Be prepared to walk up and down steep hills if you don't use the shuttle service. Beach was clean. Small pool by the beach has a swim up bar and that's where I spent a lot of my time. We saw monkeys in the trees by the swim up bar a few days."
