"This used to be the most elegant hotel in Tokyo 38 years ago when I started staying here. The garden (previously owned by Prince Tsuneyoshi Takeda and redesigned by Teiji Kusuoka) was fantastic and was one of the main draws. It is still a good experience, unfortunately they replaced part of the garden with the Prince Sakura tower in the late 90s and haven't really fixed the garden, even now. "The staff was exemplary - including the staff in the Virtu Bar. They remembered our names and were genuinely gracious during all our interactions. We celebrated our anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special. The room was spacious, comfortable, and just a calm place to get over jet lag. The location was also conveniently on top of a fantastic underground transit hub that led to five different subway lines - which kept us out of the rain. You're also minutes from Tokyo...

Buffet breakfast was great and we tried the special Japanese Bento box experience which was very impressive. View from the bar was incredible. Location very easy to explore.
