"We loved the historic property and the proximity to bars/restaurants/ The Alamo. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the fifth floor hallway smelled of urine and was quite strong."

"The penthouse suite was so roomy and comfortable to stay in. I was able to do laundry, cook, and we truly enjoyed the balcony at night with the beautiful city lights. It was so close to the Riverwalk and all the good restaurants along with the Alamo and other fun things to do. The staff was so helpful. We would definitely recommend staying there and plan on going back ourselves!"

"Don’t respect the booking"

"The staff made the MINOR imperfections of the property worth it! What can one expect from an old, historic building?! However, the room was huge and beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was super spacious and had everything we needed. Gorgeous old building with rich history! And, again, the staff was amazing!"

"It was extremely close to the venue we were attending. There were restaurants, Voodoo donut shop, pizza and ice cream all within a block or two. What I don't like is the parking. No one should have to pay $50+ to parking for 1 night. That is extremely ridiculous. SA Texas is not New York. Coming from the Ground floor, there's no signs telling you where the lobby is. Very confusing. Why do you have to ask for shower mat? The shower floor was dirty. The color on the television was blue."

"Breakfast was poor; there were no potatoes or fruit the two days we were there. All the rest was excellent. Coffee was delicious"
