"Everything was perfect "

"My wife and I stayed for 6 nights and could not have been more pleased. The rooms have been recently updated and the bathroom worked well and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and dinners we ate were wonderful. Well prepared and ample portions. The entire place was very clean. The best part of the experience at the Conningbrook was the employees. All were very jovial and helpful and couldn't do enough to make your stay memorable. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are staying in...

"Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5."

"Room had a wet mouldy smell, didnt get any better with airing out. The hotel is located in a industrial area Bathroom was worn but not the worst. The food at the connected resturant was bland but they had great understanding of gluten free. Overall was okay but wouldnt stay here again, especially at the price point."

"These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. "

"Our first overnight stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express hotel, but probably will not be our last. The whole interior of the hotel including the reception area, bar and restaurant area, communal areas and especially the rooms have all been refurbished, and apparently fairly recently, to a very good standard. There is plenty of parking available at a cost of £4 per 24 hours. From the reception desk staff to the bar and reception staff, they are all extremely friendly and helpful. Our...

"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"
