"Beautiful grounds and garden. Helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed, tasty breakfast. Only complaint, the front entrance is locked a little early for a Saturday evening, took 2 calls to get the entrance opened. But would recommend."

"Lovely old coaching inn and nice rooms too. It was lovely sat out in the forecourt having a drink undercover. My evening meal in pub was very nice , bit expensive and limited menu but tasted great. Breakfast was lovely and the Manager who was very friendly and I believe from Australia -and her assistant -were very helpful even allowing me to have it early as I had a show to get too. This was above and beyond and means I will definitely come back, Thank you"

"We had a lovely stay at The Fleece. Great sized room with lovely view and great bathroom. The cleaner was lovely, helpful and efficient - tea tray had a great selection of drinks. The food at the hotel is delicious. Staff were all friendly. Great location and helpful to be able to park on site."

"Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

"Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed."

"Staff were polite and courteous and gave us a room upgrade on arrival which was unexpected but very nice. Large room, clean with a nice big bathroom, room was nice and warm and had all the amenitrequired for a short stay. Breakfast was very good with quality ingredients, overall it was a very good stay and I would not hesitate to return."

"Wonderful small hotel with a big heart! The best impression was the personal touch. The note they leave on your bed, the list of locally supplied ingredients with a map! Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and the best food! I have to praise Olie (I hope I got the name right), he was so helpful, calm and patient. 10/10 hotel 10/10 location 11/10 food"
