"Look at pictures of the surrounding area before you book. First room they gave us had water all on the floor and stunk like cigarette smoke. Be careful with Expedia and this hotel, they steal people’s money. They do not help and just give people the run around when you reach out. No help at all and would not recommend using either! "

"Hotel was very clean and room was great. Very comfortable bed. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great for exploring Old Town San Diego. We were able to walk to many great restaurants and explore the historic area. The onsite restaurant was very good, with great choices available. We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again when visiting San Diego."

"This resort was better than expected. My husband my daughter and I stayed for 3 days and wish we would have booked even just one more. The whole resort is so beautiful and convenient. You can walk to the restaurants there which are amazing and the pools in each village is awesome. We really loved it & can’t wait to go back. Thinking of making it a spring break tradition. TY! paradise resort for a much needed getaway. "

"Room was in ok condition. Recently updated bathroom with shower and no tub. Shower leaked very badly and would flood the whole floor everytime. Apparently staff were aware of the issue but didn't offer to move us. Cleaning staff cleaned room but didn't clean floors or change bed comforter, just the sheets. Comforter had old blood stains on it. TV was broken and needed to have maintenance come plug different wires in. Breakfast was below average. No make your own waffles or pancakes, just pre-made ones, cereal options were minimal, yogurt and milk both had a chemical taste to them. Apples and oranges were the only fresh fruit, both extremely under ripened and almost inedible. No variety change over 3 days, only the eggs changed from scrambled to a super gross "cheese" omelet. Our party consisted of 3 families, everyone said they would not stay here again. Nothing major was wrong but all the little things added up to say we'd find other places next time. "

"I was not allowed to stay in a room on a rainy night, because I did not have the full amount of the deposit, and they said they would refund my money but I never got it, they said you Exspedia took it and would not refund me. I just got out of the.hospital. p pIt was a terrible night. P. "
