"We originally booked a Hyatt Indian Wells in Palm Desert, but the temperature that weekend was expected to reach 118 degrees. Hyatt was incredibly understanding and waived the cancellation fee, allowing us to celebrate our anniversary at Hyatt Mission Bay instead. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. "We were not able to stay at this hotel. When we arrived, everything was dark, then I saw the sign taped to the door that they were experiencing a blackout and no power. I tried to call, no answer. We had to look for another hotel room and after the third try, we got a room. We were still charged for the stay and we will need to get reimbursed."
