"Staying here was an absolute delight. Great location 5 min walk to bus stop and supermarket. Beautiful apartment with excellent kitchen, washer dryer (all in one), upstairs toilet and ensuites for both bedrooms downstairs. Comfortable, modern, clean. There were even extra touches with a lovely Xmas tree and decorations in the apartment. Great place to stay for families extra bed available for upstairs lounge room as well. Highly recommend this property! "

"This is a lovely little hotel, conveniently located off one of the seemingly endless cute streets of Bath. Could hardly be closer to the Abbey and Roman Baths, and next door to the fabulous Oak Restaurant. While normally a pedestrian only street would be ideal, this particular one is very loud. For some reason, both nights I was there (both weekdays) groups of young revellers decided to meet directly outside of the hotel to discuss their next moves, ad nauseam. Not sure what the draw is, but...

"Absolutely beautiful room with view. Everything was lovely at the hotel only issue being coffee machine downstairs was broken and not working properly each day. A small Nespresso would have worked better in the meantime."

"Friendly welcome. Comfortable, clean and compact room. Both of our rooms (203 and 204) had opaque and inaccessible windows (behind the bed) so there’s little point in paying for a room with a window. Unbeatable location."

"The Royal Hotel has a couple of things going for it — it’s directly across the street from the train station AND it has a lift! A couple of things going against it — the WiFi reminded me of dial-up, glacially slow and iffy. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way for a guest to set the room temp. Unless you count the tabletop plug-in fan? Staff were generally helpful, Tim at the front desk and the women working the breakfast room, too. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION"

"Parking was very good lots of room. At reception we was greeted by a very helpful and friendly young lady (Anna) Fantastic job 👏. In fact all the staff where very helpful (Tsekani maintenance man) was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and plenty to eat very enjoyable. The hotel and rooms where very clean , I would definitely book here again if I am the area."

"We booked two rooms for one night last week. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our specific needs for one person who is somewhat claustrophobic were taken seriously and several rooms options offered as available for them. The man at the desk on arrival, Hasan, was really helpful and understanding as was the lady on the desk the next morning and we had spoken to her by phone before we arrived too and received great service. There were areas which will soon need a bit of renovation but...

"Staff very friendly and welcoming, always greeting you when you entered. Facilities are great especially for self-catering. Bathrooms clean. Rooms a little dated. Bunk beds very sturdy-not rickety or squeaky. Only negative I can think of is the bed sheets are too small for the beds so they come untucked very easily meaning I woke up often sleeping on the mattress instead of the sheet. Overall a great property, great location, good for parking too. Very hilly if you are walking though!"
