"The basic room was functional with everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and everything we needed was provided. There wasn’t any noise to disturb us and the check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. All in all a good stay."

"Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality."

"Very nice hotel, a lot more "upmarket" than your traditional seaside hotel. The bed was comfy, air con (not usually needed in the UK but it was 27+degrees the few days we stayed), decent toiletries, great selection of tea and coffee in the room. The type of room we booked included robes and slippers. It's a quite far from the pier if that's the vibe you're looking for. There's plenty of restaurants and a few bars around but it was overall a very quiet area overlooking the marina. The car park...

"The air con lowest setting is 18 degrees, not cool enough. There were crumbs on the floor. The mattress was very firm, wobbles when other person moves and is noisy. Check in is slow and busy, can’t hear staff so everything has to be repeated. Reception area isUncomfortably warm and the revolving doors too close to busy reception. Excessively expensive with mean room facilities. You have to be a member to get water. Bar prices expensive (£11.25 for glass prosecco £10 plus service charge)....

"What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. The location is ideal, very close to the beach but in a relatively quiet neighborhood still easily accessible to the Brighton city centre, pier, etc."
