"Welcoming and cosy hotel in a great location overlooking the sea. We stayed as a family for one night and were greeted warmly, our room had lovely additional touches like extra mugs for the children and fudge in the treasure chest! We took the bus into Brighton for the evening and the next day, taking advantage of the parking for guests, using the bus stop conveniently situated right outside the hotel. Breakfast was superb, with both continental and cooked options available. We will be back!"

"Wonderful stay right where we needed it. The staff were all so friendly and the room a great size and stocked with what you need. Parking is mainly residential but there are numerous car parks around. Great food in the pub also!"

"Convenient accommodation and parking to attend the opera at Glyndebourne. Room comfortable, but difficult to open the windows, and there appeared to be damp in the bathroom floor below the cistern. Good selection for the help-yourself buffet breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easily accessible, but very crowded on arrival at 2pm on a Friday afternoon."

"The room was small. Only small semi-circular shelves either side of the bed. Not bedside tables. We only had one bath towel and one bath sheet between us. There were no complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and milk and fresh mugs not replaced during our 3 night stay. There were no curtains and a blind that did not keep out the light. We understood that meals could be booked in the evening as well as breakfast. Neither option was available. We were directed to other providers within the...

"We were walking on the south downs way,and the hotel was in prime position,,very reasonably priced and the food was delicious The staff were very helpful and pleasant,,,we had a good nights sleep Well done to all staff members 👍"
