"The staff were immediately helpful when the key card wouldn't work. They were also helpful in getting me something to drink after a heavily warm day. The room was basic but useful The bathroom was efficient in the use of its space. Breakfast was a refreshing start to my morning, especially the fresh water on tap, being nice and chilly. The wifi was quick enough to be useful and not a hinderance like larger hotels. It was easy to travel to and from my hotel of choice."

"My husband booked a room in the house for our stay, as I was going to see Take That in Coventry. Google maps takes you to the property using the postcode (our car's sat nav didn't). In the house, there are 10 rooms all with their own shower room. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was clean. The floor was very creaky and uneven and overall not horizontal, although it didn't really bother us. The shower doors were ok when they were shut, but one wasn't held in the lower track and needed...

"Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and great facilities. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed a quick swim in the pool and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. "Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. This staff shortage manifested itself later when we went to have dinner - to be told that the gas was off in the kitchen and...
