"A very short one night stay which was spoiled by the lack of air-conditioning in a already very hot room. The window was open on arrival but this just let in warm air and numerous flying insects so had to be shut at night."

"Used as a quick stop over on the way north so was in and out in under 12 hours. However for the price the room was good had everything i needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was generally really quiet so slept well. Breakfast was okay for a bit of cereal and a coffee did not have anything cooked. Perfectly fine for a quick stop off"

"The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. "Easy checkin. Great location for station and city centre. Staff lovely. Room great, no issues at all. Included breakfast very good but oh, the juices were so artificially sweet, not nice at all. Otherwise, will definitely use again."

"Had a 4 night stay at the hotel. Location is excellent although I didn't know the entrance was around the back. The revolving doors are not useful if you have luggage. Reception staff were good and my high floor request was accommodated. That said one of the lifts was out of order and this queues and wait times were excessive.
