"Excellent hotel slightly let down by the bathroom. Overall very nice- great decor, comfy beds, A/c, excellent pillows. But the bathroom radiator couldn’t be turned off even though it was 30 degrees outside, there was nowhere to put anything down (no shelf etc) and the shower water was hard to get to maintain a good temperature. I’d still stay there again though. It really was very nice."

"Fantastic location right on the harbour, lots to see and do within walking distance. Located in a building separate to the main restaurant/bar, so no issue with any noise. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Note no parking and your best option is the Harbour arm carpark, which is £20 for 24hours. "

"The hotel was lovely. Loved the aesthetic, the design and the location. Staff were nice and friendly - went out of their way to help with everything we need. Breakfast was also vast and a lot of options. Just make sure you get there before 10am. Lastly the amazing view outside. So peaceful and so clear. This is a nice place to go if you want a bit of peace and quiet. Which is exactly what we needed."

However, the toilet did not flush at all and the shower did not work; we only discovered this as we were getting ready for check out. "Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours. The room was okay. Tired.
