"Hotel refurbished and updated to a very high standard. We were impressed at the cleanliness and eco-awareness at the hotel, together with helpful and attentive staff.
This was an all-too-short but very memorable stay."
"Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay."

"Quaint English Inn on the English Channel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly people. Rooms were sparse but comfortable. Our son’s family stayed in rm next door and they has already made up the roll in beds. The surrounding area is interesting but no retail. "

"Used the hotel as a night stop before an early ferry. It served thus purpose well was clean fidy with an easy check in helpful manager / owner. The hotel is a little dated but tidy and great for our 1 night stay only 15 minutes from either the ferry or eurotunnel."

"Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. "Amazing place!! We stayed here the night before getting the ferry but we would love to visit again just to stay. The reception and service was brilliant and the food absolutely delicious.
