"Beautiful spacious room with a lovely bathroom, only thing that really let it down was there wasn’t a mirror other than the one over the sink in the bathroom and if you looked up, the ceiling lights are really poorly finished with big holes showing. It didn’t spoil our stay but when it was such a quality finished room, it did mar the overall effect.

"The staff were lovely, and the restaurant and rooms were very nice. Only major issue was that the carpet in our room was soaking wet, possibly from the previous guest or some kind of plumbing issue, and the whole room smelled of damp. "I had a pleasant stay at ibis budget Birmingham. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I appreciated the free breakfast, which was a good value for the price.
One downside was that the room felt dry, and the fan seemed to trigger my eye allergies, causing redness and irritation. I had to open the windows for better ventilation. There was also a noticeable toilet smell in the room.
