"Clean room but in need of refurbishing.
Very hot during our visit so appreciated the fan but would have been more comfortable if the windows had opened fully.
Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water but shower control face missing.
Staff were lovely, very polite and helpful.
Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold offerings."

"A nice stay, with a very good breakfast.
A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere.
Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be."

"What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management.
Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy.
Would happily stay again when in the area for work."

"The stay was beyond belief. The quirkiness of the rooms. And the ambiance of the restaurant superb. The staff at breakfast were amazing, attentive and a credit to the establishment."

"A good sized room with a comfortable bed. Clean and tidy with good facilities. We had a lovely Sunday lunch serves by really nice staff downstairs in the pub restaurant. We found a 295 bus stopped 100yds which re used to go to the cinema on Fulham station. Good base!"

"Bathroom floor was filthy. Staff were not very friendly. Breakfast was cold when served and not included. Extremely noisy with traffic on high street, and pub patrons leaving."
