"Cheap price for a room for the night but the rooms are in quite poor repair and are in desperate need of refurbishment. There are areas of widespread damage on the walls especially in the bathroom and the shower drains incredibly slowly. The doors bang when they shut so if you have late returning neighbours that may wake you and while there is a chain on the door, there's not a double lock which I don't personally like. "Lovely breakfast"

"The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good."

"The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back. "Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "
