"The best about this place was the friendly staff. The hotel is well located close to restaurants and supermarkets and to a train station, so is really easy to move around. The bedrooms are small but recently renovated and clean. The fact that they have air conditioning was perfect during the heat wave."

"Excellent hotel, comfortable, clean, and well decorated room. Had all the amenities, aircon, and luggage storage. Nice little back garden area and a coffee machine at the reception, both of which were great to have. Excellent value for money. The staff were polite and helpful. Tube stop about 7 mins away, supermarket and lots of pubs/restaurants nearby. There is no lift, which was not an issue for us, but might be for some as the stair are somewhat steep."

"I really liked this hotel. It's what I would call a hidden gem, because I had no idea it was there. The building is clean, housekeeping is spot on, the staff are attentive, and able to offer advice on almost everything. "The Ruby Zoe was a unique hotel. It is well-situated in the Notting Hill/Portobello Road area within a quick walking distance to several tube stations and bus stops. As others have mentioned, the rooms were compact but user—friendly. I like that there were coffee and tea stations on each floor rather than in the rooms.
