Well-equipped hotel with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Pretty good breakfast too! Strong recommendation. "

"Stayed 2 nights here the location was excellent a short walk to shops and restaurants, room was small but clean needs some updating. The cold tap in en-suite was loose and the macerater toilet was very noisy. Sanjeewa was very kind and helpful he seemed to be the only staff there. The breakfast was basic but very nice."

"Hotel was very quiet as it was a Sunday - it is also currently being renovated - I wasn’t offered a refurbished room until I asked specifically if any were available after I had already checked in. Old room was very dated, had a creaky floor, tap dripping and whistling extractor fan in bathroom. I’m not sure if the newer room we had was same grade as much smaller room size and double rather than king size bed. Decor much better and bathroom nice. Breakfast buffet was poor, my partner gave the full English 3/10 - quite a small portion served. machine coffee like dishwater - not proper filter coffee. Service was good but there were less than 10 people dining so not sure how it would be on a busy day with one staff member. Plus point was free parking and only 10 minute walk into town. Would maybe go back when renovations completed. "

"Small single room, nicely decorated and simply furnished. Fabulous view of the cathedral. The place is clean and quiet, I loved it and when I can afford it I will definitely stay again. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was also really nice and the dining room is very calm and comfortable. One little niggle, the shower was very small and not very powerful. "
