"We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"Firstly, All rooms need Air Conditioning units throughout because this week’s weather from Monday to yesterday was hot and an electrical fan in our room was inappropriate and non-starter. Please ensure Sudbury Hotel understands. Secondly, their duvet was too much for hot weather so they need to invest in thin togs for Summer and keep the thicker togs for Autumn and Winter months. "Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast."

"An old coaching inn with a history of highwaymen this was a good stay for us for two nights. We had a family room with two bedrooms and shared bathroom, each with its own double bed and television. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The Hotel also provided fans in the room as there was no air-conditioning. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold.
