"After 11 nights of "roughing it" in 5 other hotels around Scotland, we fell in love with the Doubletree. All of the basic/important things were top notch, and there were many nice touches, including indirect lighting and an abundance of electrical outlets. The staff was terrific, with three different onsite restaurant employees helping us with a chaotic and very late room service order"

"Parking was good, check in was fine, room was clean, good size room we were in a accessible room, plenty of lights in room but did not have one on ceiling which would have helped when doing hair and makeup, good size tv, room warm good heater. Bathroom great size has shower and two sinks. Breakfast good and we had a evening meal at Hotel it was good had steak and ale pie. Have stayed at Hotel.before and will stay again. "Cute little spot. The parking is awful so if you can come by bus, do that. Their restaurants are nice, the rooms are clean, there is a big tub to soak your aching feet. The staff was super helpful and informative, the power went out on the entire street and the personally knocked on our door to let us know and check on us and to see if they could make us dinner reservations anywhere else if the power wasn't back on by our reservation. Lovely views and lovely staff."

"Room was clean but sparse with no phones Heated towel bar did not work. Room heat automatically goes down every 120 minutes to 16 degrees Was very disappointed to be told that as I booked through Expedia I would not accumulate Priority Club points"

"Internet was a bit slow, always had to reconnect. Breakfast was good. A variety selection of food. And the staff were amazing from front desk to evening wait staff(James) to the breakfast crew. Would definitely stay again."
