"Our stay in The Coast hotel was really amazing. The staff are really nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself is amazing with a pool and beach access. The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. "The great things about the hotel was that it was on the beach, several food options close by, beach not busy, dive shop next door and jungle trees which allowed for fun visits from howler monkeys and iguanas. Downside of the hotel was that it is in need of some updates. The maintenance staff was prompt when we alerted them of broken items such as; our door lock was broken but even with the installation of a new lock and handles the door would not lock, the air conditioner was dripping...

"It was a beautiful place in the center of it all. The service was great and the best part were the breakfast in the morning, every day a new treat and cultural experience. The rooms were spacious and the management team was very accomodating to our needs. I'd recommend it purely because of this and location!"

Monkeys in the trees and beautiful birds. We traveled with 4 teenagers who loved the location, walkable to town, or short uber. Fun shopping and local restaurants on the beach. Ocean is swimmable with local rentals in town. Villas are spacious and well stocked with kitchen, large living room. Staff was very helpful...

"De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon"
