"Staff were nice. However Room cleanliness wasnt great, i did request another room but they were unable to change us over as we hadnt booked direct - so jad to settle with a room full of cobwebs and very stained carpet. Also the room was far too warm. The first morning we ordered breakfast and it didn't arrive despite us reminding staff numerous times. Eventually gave up and had to leave as we had appointments to to to but for 18.50£ persom not good. Still waiting on refund for this. The other...

"In our Family Room, the bedsettee mattress was about 4 inches/10cm lower at the shoulders than the lower part of the mattress. Had to use all the towels to try to level it out a little otherwise their head was far too low!!"

"Second stay and a whole much better. Breakfast excellent as ever, room facilities were in good condition, including a working fridge except for a broken window handle. Still couldn't turn the radiator off, so too hot and the Spa could be more accessible with priority given to staying guests."

"I was in a standard room. Felt safe, slept well. Modern bathroom, very good shower. Surprised no mini fridge - staff confirmed standard rooms do not have fridges. Air Con wasn’t working. Breakfast was plentiful, good selection of hot and cold, though quality is standard, not luxurious . Staff at reception and in breakfast room were excellent. Nothing too much trouble. "

"Check in was smooth and easy, clean, well lit corridors. Room was spacious if a tad dated. Spotlessly clean. Ample Car Parking. Lovely bar area. Restaurant good. Typical Pub Grub that was served piping hot and with a smile from the staff. Would we stay again while visiting family? Absolutely we would!! "

"The staff and service at the guesthouse was very accommodating. My room was a nice size. It was clean, but I cleaned it more to my liking. One thing that was bothersome was, the other guests weren't as courteous and therefore nights early mornings weren't so peaceful. "
