"Have stayed here a few times. The clientele here can be a bit mixed and have seen some interesting characters but the rooms are clean and comfortable and more often or not with a lovely view of the harbour. For the price I can't fault it. If you want something a bit more upmarket you have to pay for it. But for a bed for the night and the location to the port - this place is excellent."

"The only compliant I had was I payed for a late checkout & and housekeeping, kept on knocking on the door for me to leave the room after I paid for an extra 2 hour check out. The front staff needs to communicate better with housekeeping for future guests who want to extend the extra 2 hours of late check out."

"Newly refurbished excellent rooms even the single one I had was a reasonable size spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast very good and the staff were helpful and polite "

"Beautiful location, gorgeous looking house. Large bedroom and bathroom with a great view. The barman (blonde hair) sorry didn't catch his name was excellent very friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Food well presented and delicious, lady chef very nice friendly and well travelled. Lovely chatting to her. On the down side house keeping very lacking in fact non existent! "Went from a family room to a very pokey small room due to an error with the respective bookings. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs. Given we had large bags, this wasn’t ideal. Lovely staff, particularly in the restaurant. Location was okay. The restaurant is very busy, particularly on Sunday. "
