"The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional."

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"Didn’t care for the bar staff but the rest were very good, still don’t like tips being added to bills. Really liked the room. The size , the coloring and the less is more furniture and there being no raised threshold at the bathroom door. Of coarse , the location doesn’t get better for the airport! The scrambled eggs at breaky were not palatable to me and I hate to waste food. If only the Copthorne Tara with twenty times the numbers had as many coffee and toaster machines and overhead heat...

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. There was both a bath and a shower and both were clean. Tv and great coffee machine with plenty of milk and sugar with milk alternatives if needed. "Great little rooms right in the airport. No windows means they are pitch black when the lights go out which I find great. Nice and quiet overall. Excellent for an early morning flight. Bathrooms are small wet rooms with a good shower and nice hot water. Staff were also really friendly and helpful."
