"In 50+ years of travelling for business and pleasure this was worst property I have ever seen….i walked away and paid to stay in an another hotel …dirty,cold draughty falling down horrendous inside and appeared to being used almost as a doss house….absolute disgrace that it’s advertised…they lock it up at 11 only one door on a passcode is available …code didn’t work…anyone considering staying here don’t…there were holes in bathroom walls….hot water took an eternity and shower is an accident...

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!"

"It is being refurbished., so a few problems. Room was clean, towels spotless.plenty of parking spaces. Staff including cleaner's couldn't do enough for us, they were excellent. We have stayed there before and will again."

"This must be the most disgusting place I ever stayed in. It's really hard to even describe... everything is old and ugly, it really is in a bad state. The host welcomed us with air freshner but it still stunk. The host had the nerve to charge us £10 for late check-in. The bed made me want to go home really desperately. My room was number 11. "The Woden Boutique Inn is a gem. Relatively easy to drive to with a private car park. The virtual check-in worked well. Entering one finds a lovely and very clean space. The ambience is quiet and is situated near a park. The Woden is not far from M&S Food and Morrisons. Within a mile there are eating establishments. "Overall room was clean if a little tired, needing refurbishment. This was reflected in the fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel. I had previously stayed at the hotel approx 12 months (Ramada) before and it was 'tired' then, so in need of capital expenditure."
