"The Derby is a boutique hotel with high end decor and finishings. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to have our room ready prior to the standard check in time. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room size was smaller than I expected for a King Suite. The small window and slanted ceilings made it seem even smaller. A bench or luggage rack would’ve been helpful as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"Our stay here went without a hitch. Kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean and bed linen was nice and fresh. No complaints about the room at all as it was just as described. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear noises from outside in the corridor and across the rooms so just be aware incase you get some rowdy neighbours 😅"

"The hotel itself is exactly to be expected. Clean room, clean bathroom, and looks exactly like the pictures. The front desk allowed us to check in early, which was super helpful after an 8 hour flight from the states. My only complaint isn’t with the hotel itself, but with their procedures regarding the independent (but attached) rooftop bar. "The hotel is in a fantastic location 5 min walk from Tower of London and tube station. The room was fab and in a quiet location at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is lovely. You order from a menu for the hot breakfast and then there is a self service selection of pastries, fruit and cereals. Would recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again when we visit London again."

I’m not sure if there has been a management change within the last 10 months, but I found the staff far less friendly overall throughout the check-in/out process, and unbelievably rude in the restaurants located in the hotel.
