"clean room, excellent staff, blind didn't fit widow so was awake with the sun at 04.30 but take away coffee did help as was needed "

"Our room was clean and had good facilities. It was in a separate block to the main bar and restaurant, which was welcomed. Breakfast not available until 9am, which is quite late. A great stopping off point whilst walking the Thames Path."

"The Vines I believe has been recently taken over by new owners/management. They are still trying to find their feet, but are open and upfront about it from the moment you check in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beer cold and crisp, the room clean and peaceful. I think once they get their rhythm the vines will only get better, though I did enjoy the feeling of it being like coming home to mum and dads which sometimes is a good thing and needed."

"We were upgraded by the delightfully kind manager to a room with a bath. As we were walking the Thames Path this was hugely appreciated - a wonderful clawfoot bath and a good shower. The room was large, light and beautiful. There was a little noise as we were above the bar, but only at a low hubbub and it didn't impact our sleep at all (I'm a very light sleeper). Dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. The New Inn exceeded our expectations."

"Only thing that let it down was what we think was a sensor on the external door repeatedly beeping all night and the street lights shining through the top of the curtains making the room a bit too bright. Other than that it was an excellent stay, lovely pub, food, service, drinks and room. The homemade rhubarb drink was amazing "
