"We booked to stay 2 nights, arrived on Friday which was a heatwave day and was told we would get a fan in our room. When there was no fan in the room, we were told they are all allocated out! When questioned the staff, we got attitude and the response was- fine, you can have my fan, I won't have one! The same night it was thunder and lightning so we left the doors open in our room, 3am we got around 30 - 40 wasps fly into our room landing on us! It was horrific. We called reception and 2 people...

"Great location, and the room has all you really need in it for a good quality sleep before an early flight. Very comfortable bed, quiet and dark room, good water pressure in the shower, and plenty of charging ports. They've done a lot with a small space. Fast check-in and check-out. While there are no food outlets in the accommodation itself, there are plenty of restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes walk."

"Very convenient for the airport, it's located next to the terminal building via a corridor.. Room spotless and comfortable. Bathroom spacious and clean.plenty of toiletries.staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food was good, very tasty. Prices on par for what you would expect from an airport hotel. There was plenty of breakfast at food to choose from, even just the cold buffet, which is served from 4am. Overall, excellent choice."

"Room was lovely, but really could do with some air-conditioning as it was unbearable to sleep in the heat, the fan supplied was pretty much useless. The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome throughout.. The only downfall is we had children in the room above us who were constantly bouncing a football! Would I return again? Yes but there needs to be a stricter policy about children."

"A great location for visiting the coast which was quiet considering how close it was to a main road. A lovely clean room with all necessary features. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again."

"Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back."

"We stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Maidstone from 25–27 June 2026 and had a very upsetting experience. We were abruptly woken at 2:30am by a fire alarm and given inconsistent explanations (first an insect, later smoking). "I rarely write reviews but I needed to express our extreme disappointment at the standard of the Rose and Crown Hotel in Tonbridge. The external elevations are very tired but when inside it gets far worse. As with the outside, paint is peeling off everywhere and it looks as though no maintenance or upgrading has been carried out for many, many years. However, the worst thing is the lack of cleanliness.
