"Good parking. Staff pleasant on check in / check out. Decent pub restaurant next door. Room very tired and in need of refurbishment. Window single pane and was not sealed so could feel a draught around the seal. Shower hose broken and kinked which stopped the flow when using the shower head. A lot of flies in the room. Noisy at night from people wandering the corridors making noise and sounded like a herd of elephants walking around in the room above kept me awake. Bed quite comfy. Would probably not stay here again. "

"Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. The only problem I had was that drawing the curtains in my room was very challenging as the rings on the curtain pole didn’t glide smoothly and you had to wrench the curtain closed and open. Food was excellent and the room was quiet overlooking a peaceful garden. A good 4 out of 5."

"Very friendly staff thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Property is in our old house so could do with a little updating but it’s not a problem. Resturant downstairs was amazing. Will definitely stay and eat again."

"Comfortable bed, friendly greetings on arrival, clean kitchen area and lots to offer for breakfast. Fridge in the room which is quiet unlike some places! Hairdryer, kettle and provisions in the room, plenty of plugs, touch bedside lamps, big TV screen, mirror, table and chairs sitting area by the window. Separate Shower rooms compact but very clean."

"Great location, in a nicely modern service station with a Starbucks drive thru and Pizza Express. The view from the window was pine trees and the car park (and our car). You can only access from the Southbound services. The best thing was the value for money. Couldn't beat the price elsewhere. Reception staff very friendly. Would stay again."

"I always stay here and it’s so convenient. Helpful staff and well equipped rooms. Pillows could do with being changed as they’re quite lumpy in all the rooms I’ve stayed in but otherwise all good."
