"We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a pretty rude staff member. After a day of traveling, it wasn’t the best first impression. Once in our room, the first thing we noticed was how uncomfortably cold it was. I told my kids to go take a warm shower and to our surprise, the water was cold too! I thought maybe it was a fluke, it was late, so we took our cold showers and didn’t say anything. The next morning, went to shower again and the water was once again cold. At check out I asked...

"It’s nice place but the pool is a lot smaller than the pictures and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The other bummer was paying for parking I know that’s a thing now but it sucks and 1 free bottle of water would be nice instead of Nickel and dining you wherever they can. However it was clean and quit."

"It was clean, but the soap holder in the shower was nasty. As to amenities, no coffee in the room and the lack of electrical plugs in by center stand for the phones to be charged. Had to find one by the tv. The staff were excellent."

"Underground parking $20 per night. Nightmare to park. Extreamly small parking stalls. They need to redraw all parking lines and give more room away from building pillars. Free EV charging is a plus and was easy to get on weekdays."

"Live music was already done by the time we checked in early in the afternoon. The restaurant was under renovation and we couldn't access the main courtyard with the creek running through it. Whole reason we wanted to stay there. Complete wash."

"our stay was superior..well located to beaches....and harbor, room was large and high ceilings,,(second floor room) large and high end tv (even my wife was impressed..had a bit of a problem getting the wifi going(my fault) after contacting the management issue was cleared up immediately! ie. the password...would definitely stay at this property again if in Santa Cruz....tx so much pc"

"Location was great for walking to the nearby brewpubs and shops, easy access to walking trail. However, our room was facing Mission St and it was super noisy from cars driving by throughout the night and morning. They didn't have any rooms on the first floor so only floor was second floor. There were stairs to get out and let you out on the street, which was convenient with dogs, but door doesn't open from the outside so always had to go inside to get to room. All in all, it was fine, convenient...
