"Excellent stay for 2 nights as a base to mooch about, eat tasty foods, drink and relax. Staff were brilliant and super friendly, and a nod the manager too for being very observant and attentive (to needs we didn’t know we had!). Nice and warm and creaky where you’d expect it. Shower was a disappointing dribble (always annoys me), but the separate jacuzzi bath was great. "Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. Immediately when I got to check in, they offered to make me a plate even though the kitchen was closed. 10/10 hotel! I’ll be visiting again"
