"I stayed at this hotel for four nights, and unfortunately it ruined what should have been a wonderful trip to New York. After my first night, I woke up with an intensely itchy rash on both of my arms. The rash consisted of small, red, raised bumps and continued to worsen throughout my stay, eventually spreading to my legs. I've visited New York many times and have never experienced anything like this, so I asked housekeeping whether the hotel's laundry detergent, linens, or cleaning products...

"The service and location of the hotel are great. The cafe and bar downstairs are very nice. My only complaint is that my room felt quite dated. The bathroom was very small and crammed, with very little counter space. I stayed at a different hotel not far from there that was just a little more expensive but much more updated rooms. It is like a chic dorm room, very streamlined to basic essentials in terms of furnishings, design of the bathroom and the room is quite small.
