"Very nice hotel. We had a lovely room called the Chestnut 3rd floor in the eaves of the hotel ,very nice until a massive spider dropped from the eaves I couldn't rest then in case there was more, i'm not a lover of spiders. We had a nice afternoon tea. Nice surroundings. "

"The room was clean and tidy & had everything we needed. It would have been helpful we’d been advised that there was an engagement party & live band playing that night as we were staying as we were running the Delamere Forest Marathon the next morning and hoping for an early night as we had an early start. As the rooms were directly above the music there was no chance of this! The music did stop just after 11pm so not too bad! "

"I often stay here whilst working at Oulton Park. I have never had a problem with on site parking and always receive a warm welcome. Rooms are spacious and quiet with great beds. The Swan also serves great food."

"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
