"Spacious rooms with onsen tub on deck that is incredible. Loved the supplied clothing and the atmosphere that created. Room was well equipped and very comfortable. The buffet restaurant was amazing and even better when not busy. Staff was very helpful and a short fully indoors walk to family mart was very convenient. The complimentary ice cream was a nice touch. Would absolutely return. Incredible views from rooms and the garden is spectacular. "

"Beautiful scenery, super close- walking distance to ride a gondola to a major world renowned attraction (volcano). Super baby and kid friendly; we got a balcony room facing the lake which allowed us to open the screened door to get fresh air. The onsen was clean and in excellent condition; lots of quality amenities. Buffets were generous and quality as well. They had an unlimited sake, whiskey, wine, beer bar plus all the juices, soft drinks, tea and coffee you want. The coffee was meh; worse...

"The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was beautiful and so was the view. We really enjoyed the forest private bath, and if we’d stayed longer we would have also tried the mountain view bath. We found that the meals offered plenty of food - bordering on too much for us. We would have liked the option to pick what we wanted to eat from the days menu rather than take every dish. "
