"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"Expecting refurbished spa disappointed with condition Six people were awaiting entry at 6.30am let in five minutes late.windows rattled from wind regularly was assigned another room which was more spacious and good.limited to two pillows for couple people offering limited support.Food was good and well presented thank you."

"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "This hotel is a victoria aged building with impressive architecture. It beats Premier Inn and Travel Lodge prices with free parking and free breakfast, from limited menu plus tea,coffee and orange juice, free WiFi and hotel TV plan offers extra free stations to plow through. BBC I PLAYER AND NETFLIX ect.. Both my wife and I enjoyed our five night stay"

"We had no wifi at all .no blind at well overlooked by people having coffee at open doors on raised level opp room 206 no privacy . Bath taps didnt work towels looked grey not white Heating didnt work when we arrived lift broken for years as other guests told us too .No tissues in bathroom very poor restaurant set in beautiful grounds but not a good experience sadly "
