"Unfortunately while this property is lovely the stay was very inconvenient and I wish I’d stayed in a hotel instead. Cos it’s not a hotel and therefore has no reception or left luggage facility I had to drag my bag around Bath for most of the weekend. "Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"We just loved this place. This hotel is within walking distance from the train station. They do offer complimentary luggage pickup, but it was not available when we arrived because we requested it too late. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a vintage radio, and vintage record player and standing tub. They offer complimentary cookies, drinks and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. We had a great time."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Francis Hotel. It was five years since we last stayed there and the difference made by their extensive renovations is amazing! Beautiful rooms, even the small ‘cosy’ rooms, with thoughtful and artistic decoration and amenities. We stayed in the really hot weather and the great AC was very welcome! "Bath Priory is situated on beautiful grounds and gardens, loved the greenery and flowers. Our suite was very nice, two large rooms and a full bathroom. On arrival our room was not ready and we were brought to the bar for a complementary drink. We waited 45 minutes for a bar/restaurant member to even acknowledge us although the walked by us almost every minute. Not even a greeting. This level of service was common for the restaurant.
