"A warm welcome greeted us in reception the room was clean, tidy and fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home, overall it was a very pleasant stay and we will certainly return."

"To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. "

"This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room...

"Lovely hard working and professional staff, breakfast tip-order poached eggs off the menu as they a simply the best and as perfect as possible poached eggs you’ll find anywhere. Lovely building, clean throughout and not too far from the town centre to walk. "

"A great bedroom in a house that's full of character. En-suite shower-room with a fabulous shower. Warm and welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfast with seriously good vegetarian options. Go there! We certainly will again. "

"Hotel staff was excellent, warm, and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we we comfortable. Location is a walk to Cantebury but is in a quieter area. Rooms were clean and well kept, breakfast was well done. Parking lot is small but very well maintained. "

"We had a lovely stay, the beautiful surroundings made it very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside was not being able to walk to any restaurants. "

"We have just had a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel. The only thing we can say about it as everything was first class but we really didn't like the idea of having to pay extra for fried eggs etc. at breakfast. This may seem trivial but to us it was important. "

Fantastic double room very light and spacious loved the amenities selection , very large en suite with a bath as well as shower. Lovely meal great good menu choices in a cozy setting next to the fire with a really good bar selection too. "

"These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. "
