"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."

"Do no stay at this hotel, it is terrible. It was totally run down. The curtains were ripped and hadn't been washed in years. The bathroom was filthy with brown stains in toilet and black grime on shower seals. The sink had hard toothpaste left on it obviously from the guests before us. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. "The hotel was beautiful and spacious. When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

"Basics in room (bedside light, air conditioning) didn't work. Shower was awful, a mere trickle of water. Omly one flannel provided when there were 2 of us. Bedside table the size of a playing card. Lighting horrible, either off or blazing bright., no dimmers. Restaurant food mediocre and drink prices high. "Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms"

"I'm almost reluctant to write a review as this hotel is my hidden gem. It's my 3rd time staying and perfect for a local staycation. The outside will make you wonder if you're at the right place then once you step into the lobby you're transported. The hotel has everything you need at a reasonable price. Comfy rooms, pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, bar and even garden loungers to enjoy the good weather. Remember to ask for a dressing gown if you plan on using a spa when you check-in at...
