"Just had five nights at Best Western Princes Marine. There is limited free parking so it's a first come basis. Reception was friendly, warm and welcoming. There's a large lift to all floors. My room was a good size with a king sized bed, the room was comfortable and well appointed, as was the bathroom. Breakfast has a great selection to choose from. It's the kind of place I like as staff hover in the background rather than being overly present. This is the sort of hotel that would suit singles,...

"Excellent and cooked to order breakfast with many options. Cocktail bar has some very interesting choices too. We stayed in the David Bowie shrine suite which is fabulous and fun for any fan but the bed is very “Low” so bear that in mind if you have an issue with knees or back. Decor - loved the blind and shower curtain in particular. This booking was a surprise from my husband and I couldn’t have been more delighted."

We really did not like the breakfast experience, due to the fact there is no room in the breakfast room for all the guests and therefore sometimes you are asked to eat in the bar area. "Room overlooked the beach. Friendly staff. I stayed with my 3 children in a family room. Great stay, good location, filling breakfast, nice pizza restaurant around the Corner. I will come again. Thank you. "

"Don’t book here unless you are happy with broken furniture, stained carpets with burn marks, curtains hanging off a single hook and not covering windows. A bathroom window in the shower/bath facing the street without frosting or efficient covering. Old bed, full of lumps and ridges, only fit for the rubbish tip, stale cigarette smoke wafting through passages and random pieces of furniture and hoover in the passages. "I think if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay and just need somewhere to sleep, it’s a great option. You can check in online and then get in when you get in, which worked very well for me. The room itself needs a little fixing up, the sink had a massive crack down the middle, the bed was broken and the whole floor seemed to slope sideways. But other than that it was a pretty nice hotel and a really affordable night. Ideal for solo travelers "

"We arrived at 6:30pm and were told there was not a room for us. The staff were unable to help and unwilling to provide more information on who owns the hotel. I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel. Stay away."
